Big Skies

Big Skies is a retreat situated in Maputaland, KZN.

The brief was to create an illustrated brand developed with the local community elders in an effort to be fully inclusive with the rural community. The name the community chose was Big Skies.

For the menu boards and road signage I was inspired by the local vernacular handmade signage seen around the area at taverns and

grocery stores.
